The 38th edition of the Ghent Film Festival is scheduled for 11 to 22 October. The yearly World Soundtrack Awards, which take place during the festival, are an internationally renowned event. The 11th edition takes place on 22 October featuring Oscar winning composers Hans Zimmer, Elliot Goldenthal and Howard Shore. We adapted the beautiful leader in stereo and mono for the edition of 2011.

Raveleijn

Since October 2010, we have been working nonstop to finish 12 episodes (25 min) of the TV series Raveleijn. Raveleijn is a city in Efteling and has its own youth series written by Efteling and Paul Van Loon, directed by Anne van der Linden and produced by FourOne.Media and Efteling Media. It tells the story of 5 kids who start a great adventure entering a mysterious gate in the woods. Enjoy this compilation of some key shots in the series and action shots of the dragon and gaffers.

Proximus Pixelman

Famous created the Proximus Pixelman as a vehicle to communicate the promotions and special offers of the brand. After the modeling, rigging, shading and lighting of the character, Grid is continuously applying the character in various stills and animations for tv, print & online media, under supervision of Kris Janssens.

The Bobbejaanland Fun Brigade

10 advertising created the Bobbejaanland Fun Brigade. Grid was selected to develop 4 characters: Dreamy, King Kong, Woody and Banana who are engaged to bring more fun into people’s life. Czar and director Rogier Van Der Ploeg took the challenge to work this out in several commercials in close collaboration with Grid.

A squirrel fond of Sultana

Witloof production turned to Grid to create this naughty squirrel seducing young ladies to steal their Sultana. The modeling, rigging, texturing & integration was done by our team in close collaboration with Director Fred De Loof.

This winter, Centea bank did an original outdoor and billboard campaign in which a loud penguin wakes up a sleeping polar bear. From design, animatic, editing, animation, compositing to grading, we were happy to work together on this one.

Human Ball

This full CG commercial is directed by Andreas Hasle (Caviar) and produced for the non-profit organisation “Artsen zonder grenzen”. Grid supported the director and the agency Duval Guillaume from moodboard, storyboard, moving animatics over character design and motion capture to compositing and visual effects. This commercial was internationally awarded.
