The end of the year is the perfect time to enjoy a good chocolate. Commisioned by Euro RSCG, director Tibaut Coppens (Latcho Drom) created this wonderful setting in which the sharing of the chocolate changes the cold harsh winter into a warm festive experience. Edited on a heart beat by Mathieu Depuydt, VFX and pack shot realized by Tim Vandekerckhove and Enzo Piccinato.

Groenten uit Balen (Germaine)

Skyline Entertainment and director Frank Van Mechelen adapted the theater play “Groenten uit Balen” into a feature film due to be released mid December. The story revolves around the 1971 strike in the zinc works of Balen. The lead roles are personified by: Stany Crets, Lucas Van den Eynde, Clara Cleymans, Koen De Bouw and Axel Daeseleire. Grid was responsible for the online, color grading and titles. Enjoy the trailer!

Leader Ghent Film Festival 2011

The 38th edition of the Ghent Film Festival is scheduled for 11 to 22 October. The yearly World Soundtrack Awards, which take place during the festival, are an internationally renowned event. The 11th edition takes place on 22 October featuring Oscar winning composers Hans Zimmer, Elliot Goldenthal and Howard Shore. We adapted the beautiful leader in stereo and mono for the edition of 2011.

Together with Andreas Hasle, we just finished a full CG commercial for WWF commissioned by Ogilvy Brussels . The beautiful poetic style is combined with a powerful depth, a lot of detail and emotion captured in 3D We created the “bullet time” scenes in almost a “one-shot” consecutive way, with a continuous camera movement. Lead artists: Tim Van de Kerckhove & Freek Quartier, sound by Ray Gun

Raveleijn

Since October 2010, we have been working nonstop to finish 12 episodes (25 min) of the TV series Raveleijn. Raveleijn is a city in Efteling and has its own youth series written by Efteling and Paul Van Loon, directed by Anne van der Linden and produced by FourOne.Media and Efteling Media. It tells the story of 5 kids who start a great adventure entering a mysterious gate in the woods. Enjoy this compilation of some key shots in the series and action shots of the dragon and gaffers.

After successfully working together on several productions, Grid & Bigos! decided to formalize their collaboration through the creation of Grid Film. The execution of more complex productions for visual effect projects requires the right approach to production – an important element in guaranteeing an excellent final result for our clients. For this, Grid calls on Renaat Coppens to set up tailor made productions that find the correct balance between price, service and quality.
Commissioned by TI automotive, Grid Film produced 2 corporate films. The first one for the Tank Systems department and this one for their 5 production facilities. From preproduction over shoot to visual effects, Grid organized the complete production directed by Renaat Coppens.
